Consulting Services for University-based Startup

In 2013, a research-oriented west coast university contacted Richman Chemical with a patented sustainable energy technology it sought to commercialize. Before seeking funding for further development, the university wanted to be sure that commercializing the technology was feasible from feed, toll, and distribution channel perspectives.

Experienced project managers at Richman Chemical reviewed the technology and were able to suggest alternative raw materials which greatly reduced production costs. In addition, Richman Chemical performed a process analysis and highlighted potential inverse reactions during the manufacturing process. Lastly, a distribution channel analysis was conducted in order to fully define purported costs versus delivery overhead.

All of these results were documented in a Richman Chemical Technology Manufacturing Feasibility Report, which the university then used to obtain research funds.
